Norway’s Tragedy and Norwegian Terrorist

Norway is the most safe and peaceful place in the world? or was ? As you know, in the Norway’s deadliest massacre since World War II, at least 100 civilians were killed. The two explosions which devastated Oslos popular Youngstorget (Youngs Square) Friday hit the government buildings housing the prime ministers office near the oil ministry and the offices of at least one national tabloid. And on Utoya island, police arrested a tall, blonde, Norwegian-speaking man as the suspected gunman after he was shot and wounded. The eyewitnesses say: “A gunman in police uniform came in a boat and kept on shooting as terrified teens jumped into the water to escape the bullets.” Apparently the suspected killer behind the massacre is a Norwegian gun enthusiast with a history of voicing nationalist and anti-immigration views. “It’s a double shock. 99 percent of Norwegians immediately believed this was a Muslim terror attack. When it turned out not to be, that was the second shock”, the media said. The country of 4.5 million was plunged into grief Saturday, especially because more than 80 of the victims were teenagers.

Anders Behring Breivik, 32, a grower of vegetables, described as an ordinary guy, murdered at least 90 teens aged 15-16 at a youth camp sponsored by the ruling Labor party on the island of Utoya. When he started shooting with an automatic weapon, some of the children died on the spot, many jumped into the water. Their bodies were later recovered. Breivik, a former freemason, is an admirer of Winston Churchill, Norwegian anti-Nazi World War II hero Max Manus , John Locke, Immanuel Kant and Plato. The media said: “On a Twitter account which he appeared to have set up just days before the bloodletting, Breivik wrote a single post that would appear ominous in hindsight, citing the philosopher John Stuart Mill: “One person with a belief is equal to the force of 100,000 who have only interests .” He described himself on a now-shut down Facebook page as a Christian conservative with hobbies in hunting and body-building. He also had at one time been a member of the youth movement of the Norwegian Progress Party, which is widely considered as a right-wing populist party . They are an anti-immigration and anti-multiculturalism party.”

Norway police admit to taking 90 minutes to reach island after shooting began. In fact, Police arrived at an island massacre about an hour and a half after a gunman first opened fire , slowed because they didnt have quick access to a helicopter or a boat ! The assailant surrendered when police finally reached him, but at least 90 people died before that. Some youngsters were shot dead in the lake as they tried to swim to safety. Others who played dead were killed where they lay by the meticulous killer who checked his victims for signs of life before moving on, roaming the island and shooting everyone he could find . Edvard Fornes, 16, said the gunman told the youths: “Don’t be shy,” and, “Come and play with me”, before executing them. “There were two kids hiding in a ditch,” said Fornes, “saying: ‘Please, please don’t shoot us’, and he shot them.” There were about 600 people, mostly aged between 14 and 25, on the wooded island, for the annual summer camp of Norway’s Labour party youth wing. “We saw bodies in the water and children who hid in caves and on cliffs, they dared not come out until we said the gunman was taken, then they came crawling out weeping and screaming,” said Lise Berit Aronsen, who took her boat out after hearing of the shootings on the radio. “It was horrible to see children in that state.” Yes, it’s really horrible. The killer was full of hate, but why he killed the poor kids? “I lay down and acted as if I were dead. He approached, two metres away. He was kicking people to see if they were alive or dead . I could hear him breathe, I could feel the warmth from the machine gun. I heard a big boom and I couldn’t hear anything in my left ear. I didn’t think I was hit but it turned out I was shot quite badly. There were about 20 people dead just around me”, A 15-year-old camper named Elise said. “I saw many dead people. He first shot people on the island. Afterward he started shooting people in the water.”

Neighbors of Breivik described him as an ordinary guy: “He was an ordinary guy who looked like anyone else”. Apparently he had written about his “hate ideologies” in “Islam(ism) has historically led to 300 million deaths. Communism has historically led to 100 million deaths. Nazism has historically led to 6-20 million deaths. ALL hate ideologies should be treated equally.” Norwegian news agency NTB said the suspect wrote a 1,500-page manifesto before the attack in which he attacked multiculturalism and Muslim immigration. The manifesto also described how to acquire explosives and contained pictures. As almost all media said, Breivik is a Christian fanatic and a stupid nationalist/racists . In fact, it’s very obvious that the savage fanatics are not only Muslim. All the religious fanatics are savage and dangerous. The Jew fanatics and the Christian fanatics are exactly the same as the Muslim fanatics, and all of them are like the atheist racists. Hitler, Stalin, and many other savages were atheist. The ultra-stupid savage people who try to kill others for solving the problems, saving the world or building a better world can be religious or atheist, right or left, educated or uneducated, etc. In fact, the foolishness is a very serious global disease, and sometimes can have very very serious impacts.

The eyewitnesses are shocked in Utoya and Oslo. “It was 3:25 in the afternoon. Suddenly the whole building was shaking. It was like it was dancing. The entire glass front of our building was blown out.”, the chief foreign correspondent of Oslo’s VG newspaper said. “There was a 10-storey building with all the bricks ripped off. Hundreds, maybe thousands of windows smashed for 10 blocks away from where the explosion happened. Seven hundred yards maybe. I could see floors on the ministry of health burning heavily and the two bottom floors of the prime minister’s office just blown through so you could see the other side. It was literally hanging on its beams.’ he added. “It was like a war zone. You could see badly injured people. Some of the people didnt have a face. The injuries were so bad that [the gunman] must have used a large-caliber weapon, an Eyewitness to the shooting said. “I feel shocked to think this is happening in Norway on a little calm island. We are not used to these terror things in Norway. Its very unreal. We cant believe this.” he added. “I was shocked. Attacking the government is one thing, but attacking innocent youth at a political camp, thats beyond horrible and ten thousand times worse than attacking government buildings, attacking defenseless children . A lot of people are in the hospital now, and a lot are still missing” another eyewitness said.

Some Comments in the mass media are interesting: “This morning I have read and heard that Anders Behring Breivik can be sentenced to a term of no longer than 21 years, and presumably there is a discount for good behavior … What he said is his websites is almost identical to those of some commentators here on CiF, about multiculturalism, about conspiracies of multiculturalism, about majority rights, racist comments dressed up as ‘real concerns’, sweeping anti-immigrant comments. … The buildings can be repaired, but the children … Breivik loved violent video games and said his favourite TV show was Dexter, the popular HBO drama about a serial killer who murders evil people … Breivik have spent much of his time with his mother. Here, People feel very sad for this woman because everyone knows her. There was nothing that would suggest that he was an extremist, as in the meaning of an actionist … What turns a seemingly gentle man, doted on by his elderly mother, into one of Europe’s worst modern-day mass murderers?”
