When Intellectuals become Dumb

March 20, 2011

As we said before, Chomsky seems like a lunatic left . An Intellectual is a well-educated person who spends time thinking about complicated ideas and discussing them. He or she could change his/her mind and thoughts easily and doesn’t live in an imaginary world of dogmatic or traditional thoughts, views and values. The number of the real intellectuals are a few. Many people just claim that they are intellectual, while they are just hypocrite or ignorant persons. Unfortunately many intellects, even some iconoclast and pioneer ones, just repeat the cliche. Even some one like Noam Chomsky, that many people think that he is a real intellectual, is among them and even defends the Islamic regime. These intellects repeat the cliche, like: ‘ Many Iranians are angry at the regime, but many could still be a minority; we have no way to tell. ‘ They could not understand that If the Iranian protesters were minority, then the regime certainly would hold a free referendum under the international eyes and would show the world that Mullahs has the majority.

Today, an Iranian fan of Noam Chomsky, Amirhosein A., has sent a comment for us and said some the emotionally-driven statements. Maybe he could not read our article with enough patience, but because some of his false reasons are like many others in Iran, we answer to them. He said : “Basing your judgment on personal opinions/preferences, and concluding a general statement for a 75-million-strong population is not the best practice.” But he has not read our first sentences: “Noam Chomsky is a great man for many people, but not for many Iranians ” And the last sentence in first paragraph: “Actually we, i.e. part of Iranian people , are angered by Noam Chomsky and his unbelievable foolishness”. He and other Noam Chomsky’s fans in Iran and the West could be more patience. It’s just the beginning and we have a lot criticisms of Chomsky, and you could hear them all, and think about them seriously. Noam Chomsky’s fan said: “Chomsky gives interviews to anyone interested in asking him questions, be it Iranian state TV, Israeli press, Palestinian press, US, African …The act of exchanging ideas does not imply support for those parties.” Noam Chomsky’s fans don’t know about “The War of Nerves” and “The Open Society and Its Enemies “. They think that not only the fascism and the Nazism should feel free, but also we could work with them in the name of freedom and democracy!! This false reason is exactly the same as the great mistake of the stupid Left in 1930s. We, the authors, believe in The Open Society, but know its Enemies, and know how to fight with its enemies. We are familiar with “War of Nerves” and dirty tricks of the Islamic fascism. We don’t allow them to play with us and the people. We are not the new students of the school of freedom and democracy. We know the enemies of the open society and don’t allow them to destroy the freedom and democracy in the name of freedom and democracy

Noam Chomsky’s fan said: ” you say about “The people who live under a tyranny, gradually make a deep hate against it and all things that are related to it, and go completely in the exact opposite direction” but Who proved such a generality as a fact? who says this?” We should say to Noam Chomsky’s fans that they should read more books. They should not just listen to Noam Chomsky. They must read these masterpieces: Will Durrant’s “The story of Civilization” , Crane Brinton’s “The Anatomy of Revolution”, and Karl popper’s “The open societies and its Enemies”. The Noam Chomsky’s fan said: You either have no idea about the status quo in the other countries in the region, or receive your news from a cherry-picked source … Press TV, like it or not, is a press” We have reasonable doubt him. He could be a Khamenei’s dog/thug. (he could be a naive person, too). Noam Chomsky’s fans should know that USSR’s Pravda, Nazi’s papers, and Goebbels’ propaganda were like “Press TV”, and were not not press. They should know more about “The War of Nerves” of the Enemies of The Open Society. The War of Nerves has a simple definition: ‘An attempt to fight against an enemy or to deceive public opinion, by threatening them, or by spreading false information, false rumors, etc’. The Islamic regime’s dogs/thugs are very active in the cyber space and they are very expert in the War of Nerves. Actually the regime train them, and they are well-trained dogs. But we know that the enemies of the open society want to destroy the freedom and democracy in the name of freedom and democracy. We know that Khamenei’s cyber army want to make use of the War of Nerves, by spreading false information. But we certainly don’t allow them to do it here, in this website.

We believe in what Karl Popper (1902-1994), said in the great book “The Open Society and Its Enemies (1945) “. We know that the enemies of the open society want to destroy the freedom and democracy in the name of freedom and democracy. We don’t defend them in the name of freedom and Independence. The savage and reactionary regimes like the Islamic regime, that is worse than any other brutal regime in the world, should be boycotted. The US intellects should try to understand this important but obvious fact. They should not defend the Islamic regime, even in the name of of freedom and Independence. It’s a historical mistake. They have not learned the lessons of Hitler and Stalin. In fact, they are blind and can not see The Apparent Paradox of The West We have a lot of these fake or false intellectuals in Iran, too. And we would write about them later.

This is the second article of Noam Chomsky vs Iranians series.

Happy Nowruz (1390)

March 20, 2011

Happy New Year (1390). In the last minutes of 1389, we hope that you all have a good year, or a good spring!, full of happiness, joy, health, and satisfaction. The new year, 1390, would be the last year for Mullahs, and the year of victory of the Iranian revolution. The Iranian revolution is a revolution for life, not death; a revolution for happiness and joy, not revenge and hatred. Many of Iranians have read the human history, and have learned form the history. Many Iranians have read about American revolution, French revolution, Russian Revolution, and the Islamic revolution of 1979. The younger generations of Iranians know that they should seek life and happiness, if they really want the freedom and democracy. They know that the blood and war, just add more blood and war to the previous disasters. They know that if they choose life, then the death would be for the Mullahs and stupid Islamists. They know that with music, dance, joy, happiness, and being a normal human being, they could make a better life for themselves and for all human beings. They know that the best way for defeating Mullahs are “Being happy, being human being, being a happy and hopeful Iranian like the ancient Iranian“. The young Iranians dance with music, and laugh with each other, boys and girls, and it’s the best efficient tool for defeating Mullahs. The best anti-Islamic, anti-fanatics, anti-religious, anti-death, anti-war, and anti-foolishness, is living a live full of joy, happiness and humanity.

When the world were full of normal and happy human beings, then all wars and human-made disasters would be gone. We could and should select life, and say no to the death and darkness. As the great Karl popper said: “We are better than our fathers and mothers; Our life is better than their life; Our era is better than their era; The human being have developed in all aspects, and no one could deny it; We are better than 100 years or 100 years ago. We are better human beings. We are better thinkers and builders. We should not forget this important fact; and then we should try to make a better world, a more developed world, and it’s possible.” We really think that it’s possible. The human being could make more miracle. It’s just our beginning. It’s just the dawn of the modern history. We could have a world without any border, without any discrimination, and without any war. We are human beings and could make miracle.

Iranians don’t seek revenge on Mullahs and other killers or traitors. Iranians don’t wash the blood with the blood. Our martyrs fought for life, not for death. Our martyrs fought for democracy and freedom, not for war and revenge. Our martyrs were modern people, and fought for happiness and joy. Our martyrs are in our heart, and for them and for what they fought for, we should choose life, happiness and joy. We don’t want to kill or execute Mullahs and the Islamist killers. We bring them to trial, but we don’t execute them. We make a zoo for these Islamist animals . Maybe something like Jurassic Park, that all humans could come and see our Islamist dinosaurs and fossils. Mullahs and the Islamist killers should not be killed. They should be a historical lesson for all human beings. We are sure that 1390 is the last year of Mullahs. 1390 will be the last year of Gaddafi, Khamenei, and a dozen of other brutal dictators.

Iranians should be sure that they win. As Gandhi said, when you choose life and peace and happiness, the brutal tyranny and its supporters first laugh at you, then they are angered at you, then they fight against you, and then you win. We have a dream, like Martin Luther King (and we use his words): “We cannot turn back … We have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, and every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight; ‘and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together … And if Iran is to be a great nation, this must become true … And when this happens, when we allow freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God’s children, black men and white men, Muslims, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro and the old Iranian spiritual ” Yes, we all have a dream.

Shame on American Left

March 20, 2011

Today some Ultra-Lunatic Americans demonstrated in the US, in the name of “Anti-War” and for war against Gaddafi, the savage dictator of Libya. These stupid Lefts that have shut their f-u-c-k-ing mouth, when Gaddafi slaughtered Libyans, are really blind and deaf. Shame on them. They disgrace anti-war movement. They are deaf and blind and could not see and hear what the poor Libyans want and say . They just disgrace and discredit other respectful anti-war movement. Shame on the lunatic left. Shame on the ultra-lunatic American left. Of course we could be sure that some lunatic right, racists and nationalist and selfish groups support these stupid lefts. Shame on them all

Nowruz, Norooz, Norouz, and Noruz?!

March 20, 2011

The ancient and most important feast of Iranians , the New Persian Year, have different spelling in English, i.e. Nowruz, Norouz, Norooz, or Noruz. And it’s not acceptable and good. This live and ancient tradition in Iran , should have a unique spelling in English. The ancient Seven “S”s, have different spelling, too, like “Haft Sinn”, “Haft Siin”, etc. and even some groups spell it, “Haft Sin” or “Haft Seen”, that is not good, because these words are meaningful in English. Iranians should solve this stupid problem and choose a unique and proper spelling in English.

Nowruz table, or as Iranians call it “Sofre Haft Sinn” is a major traditional table setting of Nowruz. Haft-Sinn, that also spells, “Haft-Siin”, means “the seven ‘S’s” or “seven items beginning with the letter sinn (S)” .Siin or Sinn is the name of “S” character in Persian Alphabet. Today the Haft-Sinn table includes seven items starting with the letter ‘S’ or Siin in the Persian alphabet. In fact, the seven elements of Life, namely Fire, Earth, Water, Air, Plants, Animals, and Human, are represented by Haft-Sinn. They also have Astrological correlations to five planets Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, and Sun and Moon.

The Haft Sin has evolved over time, but has kept its symbolism. Traditionally, families attempt to set as beautiful a Haft Sinn table as they can. The Haft Siin items generally are:

Sabzeh wheat, barley or lentil sprouts growing in a dish (symbolizing rebirth)
Samanu a sweet pudding made from wheat germ (symbolizing affluence)
Senjed the dried fruit of the oleaster tree (symbolizing love)
Siir , garlic (symbolizing medicine)
Siib , apples (symbolizing beauty/health)
Somaq , sumac (as aphrodisiac symbolizing fertility)
Serkeh , vinegar (symbolizing age/patience)
Sonbol , Hyacinth (plant)
Sekkeh Coins, (symbolizing wealth)
Aajil & Fruits [see below].
A Mirror (symbolizing cleanness/honesty)
Decorated Eggs that has long history in Iran (symbolizing people/mortal seed’)
Candle ( symbolizing fire/sun)
a Holy Book and a Poetry Book (the Divan of Hafiz)
A Bowl of water with Goldfish (life within life, and the sign of Pisces which the sun is leaving). Apparently this goldfish is “very ancient and meaningful” and with Zoroastrian connection. In the recent year, we and many others use of artificial goldfish, not the live one, because of animal rights.

( Note: selecting the seven of “S” items are optional, not mandatory, and often select form the above items that begin with “S”. The other non-“S” items, are found on all Haft Siin tables)

Typically, on the first day of Nowruz ( Sal Tahvil ), family members gather around the table, with the Haft Sinn on the table or set next to it, and await the exact moment of the arrival of the spring. At that time gifts are exchanged. At Sal Tahvil , that means the hour during which the old year ends and the new year begins, the family members all dressed in their best, sit around the Haft Siin table. The Haft Siin table is kept in the whole two weeks of Nowruz holidays, and it is different form dinner table. Aajil or Ajil , is an assortment of nuts (pistachios, almonds, hazelnuts), roasted chickpeas and seeds such as watermelon, pumpkin, and raisins and other dried fruits such as apricots, sour cherries, mulberries, and figs. The roasted nuts and seeds may simply be salted. Ajil is probably the most common snack enjoyed and offered in Persian homes. It is served alone alongside fresh fruit, sweets, tea, sherbet, and sometimes liquor on a wide variety of occasions: parties, casual meetings, picnics, new year ceremonies, Haft Sinn, etc. Some like to carry Ajil along to eat as they go for a stroll, wait in lines, or attend the movies. The afternoon snack (Tanaqqolat) of Naser-al-din Shah Qajar included Ajil of thirteen different items, each in a separate bowl! these he ate along with nine different kinds of pickles before being served fresh fruits, vegetables, ice cream, tea, etc., as Asrane ! The main food in the Sal Tahvil’s day/night is Sabzi-Polo, that is a dish of rice, chopped herbs, and fish. In Persian, Sabz means Green, and Sabzi can refer to herbs or vegetables. Polo is a style of cooked rice, known in English as pilaf. Iranians traditionally eat Sabzi Polo with “white fish” for lunch on Nowruz, with their family and relatives.

Happy New Year, Happy ancient Nowruz
