An Open Letter to Mousavi

An open letter to the arrested President, Mir Hossein Mousavi : Mr. President, your team, your website, and your friends are very foolish

Dear Mr. President,

Happy birthday. We are some outspoken critics of your plans, but we vigorously defend your rights. We all know that you had at least 20 million votes in the last election and you are the legitimate Iran President. We know that you and the first lady, are in jail now and tortured by Khamenei’s dogs/thugs. We know that Iranians have not forgotten you and try to free you. But Mr. President, your team, your website, and your friends are very foolish and they don’t do anything even for you and your wife.

Mr. President, your website, Kaleme.com, and your chief advisor, AmirArjmand that live in Europe, are really foolish. They not only censor the users comments and views, but they shut their eyes to your arrest. These days, your friends, i.e. the Islamist reformist plus the Iranian journalists that live outside Iran, have not any rapid or even strong reaction. Apparently just we and other your outspoken opponents, reacted swiftly and strongly. It’s not a good sign for us, but maybe it’s a good sign for you. When your friends are such lunatic persons, how do you want to save Iran or even yourself ? You did not listen to what we said before, but it’s not too late and at least for freeing you and your wife, as a short-time goal, they should call for a strong and direct action, like a general strike or a daily and continuous protest. But they still refuse and the people are not pleased and satisfied at all.

Your journalist friends are really foolish and opportunist. After your ill-advised statement for Ashura 2010, they supported and encouraged you. When your nephew was killed by Basiji thugs, you (at least) had to remain silent as before, and issuing that unwise statement was very wrong. Your friends did not show you the right way. It was obvious that the people could topple Seil Ali, if they continued to protest after Ashura. But you and your friends dashed the people’s hope. Your friends blatantly said that the people should come back to their homes! And now after a year-long irrational silence and a lot of high but fruitless prices, your friends ask the people to leave their homes again and come to the streets in a stupid way as before. How could the people trust these foolish men ? It’s obvious that discontinuous and unorganized protest has not any outcome and just imposes a high and vain price on the people. Mr. President, the people are not foolish enough to kill themselves for the stupid and vain plans.

Mr. President, when your friends are such stupid persons, how could you expect your enemies, i.e. the West and western politicians, to care about you? Your friends should apologize for their behavior and call for a continuous protest immediately. The people have really tried of your friends. Apparently they just could do the job of disappointing the people very well. You could not be freed by this sort of stupid acts. Sooner or later the people would be tired completely and leave you and your friends alone. Paying high prices without any outcome is a masterpiece of foolishness. The western countries and their politicians would help you and Iranians, if public opinion forced them to react by our daily and continuous protests in the streets.

Regards,
some outspoken critics of your plans
